Jiva

A soul, or living being. There are infinitely many.
Every jiva is by nature perfect, with infinite knowledge, perception, bliss and energy. Karma covers that up. Jivas are ranked by how many senses their bodies have, from one (plants, microbes, earth, water, fire, air bodies) to five (most animals and humans).
