Top answer

Not a creator god, no. Jainism holds that the universe is eternal and uncreated. It runs on its own laws (including karma) and nobody made it or manages it. That doesn't make Jainism atheist in the usual sense. It has gods (devas) who live in heavenly realms, but they're beings in the cycle of rebirth like everyone else, and they have to be reborn as humans to reach liberation. The beings Jains revere most are the Tirthankaras and siddhas: humans who fully freed their souls. They're worshipped as ideals, not as helpers. They don't answer prayers or intervene. So the short answer: no creator, no saviour, and the divine is something every soul can become.
